Global Education

Global Education (GE) at the 91ÖÆƬ³§ is led by a dynamic team dedicated to supporting and coordinating 91ÖÆƬ³§â€™ global endeavors.  Hailing from a wide variety of backgrounds, our team offers an array of technical expertise on international collaborative agreements, immigration, international student and scholar services, risk management, insurance services, and education-abroad program development.

The 91ÖÆƬ³§ is known globally for the quality of its distinctive graduates, the success of its alumni, and its unique expertise in topics related to earth, energy and the environment.  With over 700 international students, over 400 students studying abroad annually, and over 300 faculty conducting research, teaching, and leading other activities in countries around the world, 91ÖÆƬ³§ is now more global than at any point in its history.

GE supports a network of global partnerships to deliver high-quality education, ignite international projects, and expand access to international experiences for the entire University.  Students and faculty from across the globe are drawn to 91ÖÆƬ³§â€™ supportive and collaborative education environment: hands-on research, risk taking, and problem solving define 91ÖÆƬ³§â€™ approach to teaching and learning.  We believe that global education enriches our community and positively impacts the world, so we are proud to serve as the central hub for global-education resources for carrying out a variety of functions and activities at 91ÖÆƬ³§.

>> Global ambassador program

Global Ambassador Program (GAP) is overseen by the International Student and Scholars Service Office (ISSS) at 91ÖÆƬ³§. GAP is designed to assist incoming international students and scholars in their transition to life at 91ÖÆƬ³§ by providing helpful resources. Our Global Ambassadors are a select group of knowledgeable, motivated, and enthusiastic international student leaders who leverage their unique cultural backgrounds, experiences, and knowledge to support the 91ÖÆƬ³§ community.
